The Rebuke of John Pavlovitz - One Day in Two Americas, the Death of Ma'Khia Bryant

"In a few minutes yesterday, Ma'Khia Bryant received what young people of color have so often received since America's inception: total disregard by those charged with protecting her (those she trusted to keep her safe)—and now in the aftermath of their failure, the salivating partisan television hosts and neighborhood bigots, who will engage in the wildest of intellectual gymnastics and desperate story-spin in order to make this radiant, fully alive 16-year-old honor student somehow responsible for her own termination."

If you didn't know the shooting details of Ma'Khia Bryant, And stumbled across John Pavlovitz Revised history blog post, you would think that Ma'Khia Bryant lost her life because she was a black "Honor student"?

You very well Likely, would have Believed that White MAGA-loving Police officers, were cruising the Neighborhood looking for a black Sacrifice, to be made at the Altar of White America.

Of course, the idea of this is idiotic. Still, when one Finds themselves reading a John Pavlovitz article, one is overwhelmed by the moronic Rationalization of Documented facts Being twisted to fit a particular narrative.

If Pavlovitz Doesn't prove beyond a reasonable doubt that neutrality is a myth? Then I'd like to sell you some magic beans.

Of course, a broken clock can be correct a couple of times a day. And John Pavlovitz Does get some things correct in his Article. Such as, he correctly spells the word "The," And "Life," but as to the facts of Ma'Khia Bryant's death? Pavlovitz isn't even in the same ballpark. The Cuckoo clock is Ringing but the handles are not moving.

Pavlovitz doesn't even attempt to bring facts into the conversation regarding the Ma'Khia Bryant Shooting incident.

Thus, Pavlovitz earns a lengthy Overdue Rebuke.

This blog will serve two purposes:

1) To rebuke John's arbitrary and nonsensical understanding of the shooting incident of Ma'Khia Bryant on April 20 2021

2) To Introduce the Fact's of what took place on the shooting of Ma'Khia Bryant on April 20 2021.

The details of the Shooting:

Bryant and her younger sister Ja'Niah, housed at a foster care home named for the owner of the foster care home, Angela Moore, found themselves in a situation that would leave one of them dead.

On April 20 2021

A former foster resident 22-year-old Tionna Bonner, was hanging out with Bryant and her younger sister, who had returned home from school. A dispute soon erupted over housework, which caused Bonner to call a friend over who, like Booner, was a former resident of the Anglea Moore foster home. (Shai-Onta Lana Craig-Watkins, 20).

In response, Bryant calls her Grandmother to come over.

According to Bryant's sister and Grandmother, Bonner the former resident, pulled a Knife, which caused Bryant to retrieve a steak knife from the Kitchen.

Bryant's sister, Ja'Niah then calls 911 at around 4:32 P.M. She is recorded as saying:

"We got Angie's grown girls trying to fight us, trying to stab us, trying to put her hands on our grandma. Get here now!"

Officers from the Columbus Division responded to the 911 call and arrived on the scene at around 4:45 Pm.

Video surveillance captured the arriving officers, which includes Officer Reardon 23, an Ohio air national guard vet.

Video surveillance captured from multiple angles, several persons in the driveway, including Bryant, who comes out of the house, Just as Reardon arrives on the scene. Reardon can be heard with a raised tone yelling. "Hey. What's going on?"

In full view of Reardon and others, Bryant can be seen pushing Craig-Watkins to the ground.

Bryant's father, who also arrives at the location, is seen kicking the now fallen Craig-Watkins who is still on the ground. Oblivious to the law enforcement officers descending on the property. Reardon draws his service pistol and shouts. "Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!" As it is Clear that Bryant is armed with a knife.

With knife in hand, Bryant Lunges toward Bonner, and pins her to a Car. Reardon once again yells at Bryant to "Get Down!" Multiple times, with no response to Reardon commands.

Bryant reaches back with the knife, intending to use the knife on Bonner. Instead, Reardon fires four shots, striking Bryant, who Collapses on the driveway.

Officers Immediately began to perform CPR until emergency responders arrived. Unfortunately, Bryant was pronounced dead at Mount Carmel East hospital at around 5:21 PM.

John Pavlovitz Article titled. "One Day in Two Americas (The Life of Dererk Chauvin and the Death of Ma'Khia Bryant)" is written less than a day later APRIL 21, 2021

Pavlovitz opens up by speaking about the conviction of Officer Derek Chauvin, and quickly moves the narrative to the shooting Incident of Ma'Khia Bryant. It Becomes clear that Pavlovitz has a Interest in connecting both cases together.

Pavlovitz article:

"As Officer Derek Chauvin's fate was being decided by a jury in a Minneapolis courtroom, Columbus, Ohio Police were deciding 16-year-old Ma'Khia Bryant's in front of her house."

The rebuke:

For starters, Bryant's case has nothing to do with the Chauvin case, which is straightforward to just about everyone; that Officer Chauvin acted negligently at the very least, and at worst, acted with malice toward George Floyd.

But to state that the Ohio Police were "Deciding" Bryant's fate in the Same manner? Is disgusting on Pavlovitz part.

As indicated in the details of the event Officer Reardon warned Bryant to stop her attack.

Ma'Khia Bryant; Filled with so much rage and anger was unable to? or unwilling to stop.

It was Bryant that forced officer Reardon to Discharge his service weapon.

If officer Reardon had not fired his weapon when he did, there is no doubt about it; Bonner would have been killed or, At the very least, seriously injured. Bryant, not the Colombian police, decided her fate. Those are the facts that are backed up with video evidence.

Pavlovitz article Continues:

"Unlike him, [Chauvin's] for her there was no careful deliberation, no meticulous processing of information, no measured and sober judgment, no beyond a shadow of a doubt certainty, no prolonged time of waiting—only an immediate death sentence".

The rebuke:

The facts are the following:

1) "careful deliberation"? Officer Reardon gave clear and loud commands for the parties to stop. "Hey. What's going on?"

The Assault Continued with Bryant choosing to Ignore officer Reardon.

2) "no meticulous processing of information"? The Columbus Police department and the Responding officers had basic information on what was going on, which was a Fight that had gotten out of control. The 911 recording made by Bryant's sister Ja'Niah

"We got Angie's grown girls trying to fight us, trying to stab us, trying to put her hands on our grandma. Get here now!"

When the Columbus Police arrived, they had seconds to make a Judgement call, not Hours in a Jury box. Or, Hours behind a Pavlovitz keyboard, providing Monday quarterbacking commentary.

Police Officers don't get the Luxury, in life and Death scenarios to ask Fallen sinful out-of-control persons for a Momentary Timeout. Nor do the police have the ability to Freeze! everyone in place, as seen in the 90's Sitcom saved by the bell.

They have to respond to life-and-death situations, that Requires them to make Quick Life altering decisions.

Pavlovitz quote; Closer examination:

3) "no beyond a shadow of a doubt certainty, no prolonged time of waiting—only an immediate death sentence."

The rebuke:

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!"

Officer Reardon shouted 4 times with his service pistol drawn; pointed at Bryant to Stop her attacking another black woman.

If Officer Reardon had prolonged his "waiting" as The keyboard warrior, John Pavlovitz Demands.

Then Booner would likely be dead, and Bryant would be charged with murder.

Of course, in the culture of no responsibility, Bryant's Defense would've seen to it that Officer Reardon was held responsible.

Officer Reardon Would've been accused of being a white coward for doing nothing. And likely would have been brought up on Negligent charges for doing nothing.

Riots would've followed; Calls for Reardon to be fired, likewise would've Been echoed over on the Far leftist's media Outlets CNN and NBC.

John Pavlovitz Would've worked himself into a tizzy, which Would've seen Pavlovitz banging on his keyboard like the evolutionist Darwin monkey; that he thinks he is.

Pavlovitz would have Blathered on about how Reardon's white privilege prevented him from saving the life of an Innocent black woman.

The vicious cycle continues.

Pavlovitz article:

"This prolific violence isn't fundamentally about funding or training or a broken system needing repair or a national reckoning white privilege and white supremacy (those things are all certainly true and need to be addressed with ferocity and creativity). But at its core, this is about a collective heart sickness that so dehumanizes black and brown human beings in the eyes of law enforcement, that it allows them to act in haste and with recklessness and without hesitation, because they believe no accountability will come—because it so rarely has."

The rebuke:

I'm a Christian who has been saved by the grace, and Good works of Christ.

I know what I was before I was saved, and Apart from God doing his work in my life, I would be just as ignorant as Pavlovitz.

If you want a changed world, you need to have changed hearts. It's Christ or chaos.

Mark 2:15-17

"And as he reclined at table in his house, many tax collectors and sinners were reclining with Jesus and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. And the scribes of the Pharisees, when they saw that he was eating with sinners and tax collectors, said to his disciples, "Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?" And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

Pavlovitz article:

"In a few minutes yesterday, Ma'Khia Bryant received what young people of color have so often received since America's inception: total disregard by those charged with protecting her (those she trusted to keep her safe)—and now in the aftermath of their failure, the salivating partisan television hosts and neighborhood bigots, who will engage in the wildest of intellectual gymnastics and desperate story-spin in order to make this radiant, fully alive 16-year-old honor student somehow responsible for her own termination."

The rebuke:

Only a deceived mind Obsessed with skin colour can watch the Reardon Body camera Footage and Conclude that Bryant was shot for being an honour student. I am at a loss for words to describe John Pavlovitz, the Author of "If God is love, don't be a jerk" Inability to see facts versus fiction.

He is Simply Enable Or unwilling to examine the evidence as he is required biblically.

Proverbs 18:17:

"The first to plead his case seems right,

Until another comes and examines him."

The facts are clear, Bryant attacking another black woman and With seconds away from thrusting a steak knife into her would be victim.

Forced officer Reardon to Fire his service pistol.

Bryant was not shot! Aor being a "Fully alive 16-year-old honour student." She was shot for attempting to Stab another black female. Period!

Pavlovitz article continues:

"there is the 244-year reality of a bigotry and brutality that has been largely unabated because those who have wielded power have made sure of it, the violence that hasn't been documented in HD video and shoved in front of us, demanding that we not look away, the place where justice has so rarely visited."

The Final rebuke:

What's impressive here is that Pavlovitz Admits that there is a video?

And yet Pavlovitz feels the need to privilege, His readers (Victims) to a diatribe of Conjecture that has nothing to do with the Facts of the shooting.

Pavlovitz So filled with White racism, That he is not able or unwilling to see a police officer doing his job.

I pity Pavlovitz, but at the End of the day the officer did nothing wrong. And if Pavlovitz Can't see that? Then that's a Pavlovitz Issue, not a Racism issue.

The rebuke of Pavlovitz article titled "One Day in Two Americas (The Life of Dererk Chauvin and the Death of Ma'Khia Bryant)" was long overdue.

It has been nice to set Pavlovitz straight on the facts in this Article.

But,

There's another purpose for this article, and that is to Prepare you For the rebuke of John Pavlovitz Slanderous November 17th, 2021 Article Titled:

In what I believe is one of his most slanderous Pieces yet, Pavlovitz will unleash a Tantrum That would make any two-year-old jelly.

It's Absolutely worth a defamation Lawsuit in my Opinion.

But that's not up to me. All I can do is thoroughly rebuke the unhinged pastor's Slanderous article.

In the next blog, I will once again rebuke Pavlovitz Baseless article by presenting Facts
