His Body, His Choice—What Did You Expect?

Updated: 6 days ago

"So first of all, you jumped in on a police report about a sexual predator claiming "his body his choice" and expected what?"

I knew what the article said, that's why I jumped into the conversation. I thought it would be a great opportunity to point out the hypocrisy, in the religion called 'Atheism and Evolution'. I needed to show the hypocrisy by using (and I KNOW it will scare some of you) the Word of God and His standards of righteousness, not yours or man's standards of righteousness, including mine.

I do not claim to be a righteous person, in fact, I deserve hell, for sinning against the one and only holy God; even on my best day, I am like a filthy use rag (Bible translation used tampon)...so no I am not a righteous person by any means.

"A positive response? "

First of all, I don't do this for man's approval, nor do I do it for my approval, I do this for God's glory, not man's glory. I could care less what any man thinks. I just want man to repent and be saved by Christ; so, of course, I didn't expect a positive response, in fact, I prefer to have people give me angry replies like this one, or angry emojis, over a thumbs up. The Gospel's measures are not supposed to make you feel special. It's supposed to make you grumble before God, and accept our Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour, and to learn you are a sinful wretch that does not deserve God's grace.

Acts 2:36-38

36 “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”

37 When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

" You give no context for your claim and very much come across as defending the predator?"

Well, I reject your claim that it comes off defending pedophiles, you will have to prove this. I did my best to make it as clear as possible, in my blog, that I do not support this kind of behavior; if people do not read the full article on the subject that I was talking about, I cannot help them in making such claims that I was supporting the pedophile.

That would make no sense, in my worldview, to support pedophiles; my worldview supports the death penalty for rapists and murderers. But if I were to ask you if you support the death penalty, I am going to make an assumption that you probably would say you don't support the death penalty...So who is really supporting the pedophile?

"You might very well have the police checking your internet usage after that?"

I could care less if the police were to check my Internet usage, I have nothing to hide. That being said, police do like to go after Christians, here in Canada (i.e. Pastor James Coates).

To be honest with you, I would love a chance to preach the gospel message to the police department, they tend to steal their worldview from my worldview and not acknowledge it, and because they don't know what worldview they're supposed to be supporting, they tend to get themselves into a bit of trouble because they go against the teachings of God. I made a blog article on the subject. The RCMP is stealing from God!

"Additionally there is a huge difference between abortion and abuse."

I reject your conclusion of the standard of righteousness; in the eyes of God, they're both abominations; abuse is a form of hate, which Jesus said, if one has hated, he has committed murder.

Matthew 5:21-22

21 “You have heard that the ancients were told, ‘You shall not murder,’ and ‘Whoever commits murder shall be answerable to the court.’ 22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be answerable to the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be answerable to the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.

"A person who does not want to be pregnant has no other choice but abortion to remove themselves from that situation."

So, what you just said, is exactly what I was trying to get somebody to admit. This is why people are having a hard time with this post, this is why it's so important to know one's history, the response you just said is no different than what the Nazis said about the Jews.

I took this quick little snippet from the Holocaust Museum. You can look at it yourself

Der ewige Jude ends with Hitler's infamous speech to the Reichstag on January 30, 1939: “If international Jewish financiers inside and outside Europe should succeed in plunging the nations once more into a world war, then the result will not be the…victory of Jewry but the annihilation of the Jewish race in Europe.” The speech appeared to be a sign of radicalization of the solution to the “Jewish Question” in the coming “Final Solution,” and provided a foreshadowing of mass murder.

"Many people who have abortions wouldn't have a problem with the baby living and being raised by someone else that's just not feasible as they would have to remain pregnant for around 9 months first which is not an easy journey"

While most Germans disapproved of anti-Jewish violence, dislike of Jews, easily stirred up in hard times, extended far beyond the Nazi Party faithful. The majority of Germans at least passively accepted discrimination against Jews. An underground report prepared in January 1936 by an observer for German Social Democratic Party leaders in exile noted: “The feeling that the Jews are another race is today a general one.”

During periods preceding new measures against Jews, propaganda campaigns created an atmosphere tolerant of violence against Jews. In some cases the campaigns exploited the violence—both calculated and spontaneous—that ensued. The goal was to encourage passivity and acceptance of anti-Jewish laws and decrees as a vehicle to restore public order. Propaganda that demonized Jews also served to prepare the German population, in the context of national emergency, for harsher measures, such as mass deportations and, eventually, genocide.

I change a few words, the words I change here and in red, this is the worldview you support!

While most Canada and USA disapproved of anti-Abortion violence, dislike of unborn babies, easily stirred up in hard times, extended far beyond the pro-choice party faithful. The majority of Canada and USA at least passively accepted discrimination against unborn babies. An underground report prepared in January 1936 by an observer for Canada/USA Social Democratic Party/Planned Parenthood leaders in exile noted: “The feeling that the unborn babies are another race is today a general one.”

The Nazis only killed 6 million Jews, and since the ROE v. WADE case, the USA has killed 60 million unborn babies.

Hitler believed in evolution (evil society) which allows him to kill 6 million Jews without feeling any kind of remorse, the atheists & evolutionists (evil society) does the same by killing 60 million babies, without feeling any remorse.

May I ask you what standard of righteousness are you judging one act of sin against another act of sin? Clearly, you do not believe in the Holy God. How can you say child abuse is worse than abortion? To me, they're both just as evil, but killing the most innocent thing known to this world, is just incredibly evil. God does not support this, at all, in fact, he describes what the ancient Israelites used to do about abortion in the most graphic way you can possibly imagine. He's totally against it.imagine. He's totally against it.

Psalm 139: 13-16

For You created my innermost parts;

You wove me in my mother’s womb.

14 I will give thanks to You, because [i]I am awesomely and wonderfully made;

Wonderful are Your works,

And my soul knows it very well.

15 My [j]frame was not hidden from You

When I was made in secret,

And skillfully formed in the depths of the earth;

16 Your eyes have seen my formless substance;

And in Your book were written

All the days that were ordained for me,

When as yet there was not one of them.

Ezekiel 16: 6-7

6 “When I passed by you and saw you squirming in your blood, I said to you while you were in your blood, ‘Live!’ Yes, I said to you while you were in your blood, ‘Live!’ 7 I made you [d]very numerous, like plants of the field. Then you grew up, became tall and reached the age for fine jewelry; your breasts were formed and your hair had grown. Yet you were naked and bare.

"Even if the Bible doesn't condone abuse against women, many Christian marriage books/speakers/churches/organizations etc dismiss many forms of domestic violence and abuse and/or dehumanize women (Focus on the Family, Love and Respect, Every Man's Battle)"

In the Bible, all violence is considered an offence against God and against humanity. Scripture is full of condemnations of violence – time and again violence is associated with wickedness and condemned as “detestable to the Lord” (Psalm 11, Proverbs 3 & 10).

"In fact, new research shows that "Christian" sources of marriage advice tend to be dangerous to women in abusive situations and misogynistic/dehumanizing in general versus "secular" resources which tend to be both helpful in creating healthy marriages and appropriately address abuse. (See The Great Sex Rescue - (book) for the research I am referring to)"

I'm very glad you brought this book to my attention, I did do some research into the author Sheila Wray Gregoire. Personally, I would not take anything she said seriously, her Christian philosophy is very weird, if you can even call it Christian, which I will not do. And I would caution any Christian to stay far away from her in your knowledge of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

There are a few issues I have with her, mainly her main focus is about sex, sex, and sex; which's very problematic to me when you're trying to preach the gospel.

On her website, there's very little mentioned about the gospel...I've only been able to find one mention of Jesus, mostly it's all about her and what she can sell,

There are three main blogs I looked at and I have issues with all three of them, but the one I will address here, is titled How to Make Period Sex Less Messy–and More Enticing

This is completely against God's wishes, and she's promoting it like it's okay to do.

“You shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness while she is in her menstrual uncleanness.

I would caution anybody who claims to be a Christian from getting anything but maybe marriage advice from her, but just keep in mind it's going to be very sexual theological.

The apostles in Christ didn't talk much about the subject, and you have to ask yourself why not? It's because is not all that complicated to engage in this kind of activity. It was for reproduction, unfortunately, sexuality tends to turn into sinful actions. Christ and the apostles were more focused on teaching man's corrupt nature of sin, and repentance and baptism, and Christ and salvation.

While I think it's good and healthy that you treat your partner with respect unfortunately respect is more common in "secular" relationships than in "Christian" ones. While it is convenient to dismiss a problem in the Christian community simply because it doesn't seem Biblical to you, that's not something you can do when its a systemic issue among the group of people who identify as and practice Christianity.

In the Bible, all violence is considered an offence against God and against humanity. Scripture is full of condemnations of violence – time and again violence is associated with wickedness and condemned as “detestable to the Lord” (Psalm 11, Proverbs 3 & 10).

"To your question of am I pro abortion? No, I'm not. I'm pro life. However I am pro ALL life including the mom and many anti-abortionists completely skip over this. Raging against abortion or outlawing it doesn't fix the issue in any way."

I'm glad to hear you are pro-life, however, you could've had me fooled; it sure sounds like you're being apologetic toward the pro-choice argument. As for the mother argument, when it comes to the mother losing her life for the child, I would leave that decision to the mother.

1) Most people who have abortions are vulnerable women

I reject that argument by using God's standard, it's not an excuse. If a woman or man cannot be smart enough not to have sex unless she or he is married, she has no business having sex outside of marriage. Now that being said, we are all sinful, things do happen. But there are consequences, it's called God's judgment. If we weren't sinful wretches and followed God's commandments, we wouldn't have these problems. It doesn't help, either, that our culture is all about sex, not getting married, and not needing a man.

2) Most people who have abortions have limited social supports and do not have the resources to manage the pregnancy and child - for example even Canada has an inadequate social support system that is incredibly hard to access.

Well, if I were to follow that logic, if I were to all of a sudden lose my income, and I could only support myself...am I supposed to kill my wife or brother (who lives with us)? Of course not! If there's a will there's always a way, and if people were to put their trust in God, they will be able to continue on.

3) Again, very few people who have abortions are looking for a convenient fix in their otherwise perfect lives

See there is that phrase "perfect lives". You are making the argument based off of selfishness. The big problem with our culture is that we don't like to take responsibility for one's actions; if you're not ready to have a child, then you're not ready to have sex. The point is women should be looking to get married before having sex. And if not, then you have to expect God's judgment, He's a holy and righteous God, if we were to follow his commandments, these things would not happen

4) Child pornography is Child Abuse.

Yes, I totally agree with you on this one!!

5) Being able to create/access Child pornography requires financial or social power. The extent of that power varies but these are not vulnerable people who are doing this.

I don't particularly understand this question. Are you saying its okay for people to watch pornography? Because I think pornography should be banned.

6) Your article is very aggressive and insensitive which does not help anyone. Sometimes its nice to get out an angry rant with a friend about something you're frustrated with but unrighteous human anger is damaging and unhelpful.

I'm a Christian Apologetic, and I do everything possible to make sure I am preaching the gospel, the way that the Apostles did it and Christ did. If that means I offend people, so be it. Do you think for one second that Christ did not offend people? He offended just about everyone you could possibly imagine,to the point where he was eventually crucified, in the most horrendous and graphic manner that you can possibly think of. And he did this because we are all guilty of hell. God is so righteous, if He did not have our Lord Jesus Christ die on the cross for us, He would be within His right to let us burn in hell, and He would still be righteous for that.

But because of His grace, He allowed His Son to die on the cross for our sins. If you think what I said was offensive or wrong, you need to provide Scripture to prove I was over the line. I did nothing but point out the hypocrisy of the atheist's worldview, that support animal-like behavior, and if I have to show history to do so, so be it. If a person doesn't want me to show them the worldview they support, then they should repent and turn their life to Christ, to be on the right side of history. But this is my method of preaching the Gospel and if somebody who is a self-claiming Christian wants to challenge my method of preaching the Gospel, I would welcome the debate.

I really hope that you don't lose your faith, because some people out there who claim to be Christians (perfect example: Sheila Wray Gregoire) did you harm. I will provide some useful resource information for you that could look at, and I hope it will help you to build your faith in Christ, May God bless you.
